We're going to end up a 9th place team in the east with lousy draft pick. Lather, rinse, repeat. |

Kessel would be an amazing fit in Pittsburg.
The penguins have real good talent in their system. Everyone needs more D and the Pens are well stocked. Take the best players available in their system and move them or similar players in other deals. |

To weigh in on the ACC ticket debate happening in the last thread.
I've been to 3 home games so far in the plats and exec suites. I am nowhere near middle class, let alone upper class. Some of us just are good at our jobs and get those spots.
Signed,
The guy spilling beer on your blackberry while I scream at Kessel. |

You shouldn't hope for a last place finish to get a better draft pick. That is one thing I agreed with BB on. Its a loser mentality to think that way and things won't change in TO with that PI%$ poor attitude like that. |

It's not.....to me, the only reasonable, reachable target is Sutter and I don't think Shero would trade him.

TOR probably has some decent depth on wing to replace Kulemin, but PIT doesn't have much to offer TOR in return unless more d-man for another trade down the road for a C position. |

He would be frightening in Pittsburgh.
But the Flightless Birds would never give up enough to make the trade worth it for Toronto. |

I know nothing about Brandon Sutter, so let me ask:
Any chance in heck he can develop into a #2 or #1 centre? - Atomic Wedgie
Statistically, looks like a good #3 center but he is only 23 years old and could grow into a 50 point a year guy. |

He looks like a Solid #3 center. I am spoiled though. I see his cap at 50pts with good wingers. |

Kessels contract may be too big with Letang's contract ending soon.
I like Kulemin. I don't think we give up Despres for him though. He has been looking very, very solid for a rookie Defender. |

Kulemin wont be traded. He is our most reliable player (with out the puck). He is signed to a reasonable deal and still is a 15-20 goal guy
MacArthur, Komiserek, Brown, Orr, Steckle, Connolly, Fraser, ..........trade em all for mid round draft picks. they are all pretty useless during this retool/rebuild, but may be usefull to other teams with long playoff run aspirations.

Tangradi sucks but getting Depres would be great. He's somebody the Pens likely wouldn't want to part with though. |

For a Kessel deal, Pittsburgh would have to send some serious talent back. So cap hit shouldn't be a problem.
But like i said, I don't see it happening. |

Kulemin for Harrington/Morrow and a 2013 2nd
Gives another roster spot to battle for, another stud dman and a 2nd rounder which is always fun.
EDIT:
It also keeps with the rebuild or whatever it is that we're doing.

EDM can prob use Steckel as a rental now. Injury plague hit the past couple games. |

There are glass half empty people and glass half full people. You will find some of us have positive attitudes as well opinions and arguments that are valid. Except when it comes to are team then bias gets in the way of logic. |
